“Grande Seconde Skelet-one”
Jaquet Droz resurrected in 1996 is in fact celebrating its 280th anniversary this year. The new timepiece unveiled to commemorate the 280th anniversary is the Grande Seconde Skelet-One, a transparent version of the Grande Seconde renowned for its large seconds counter. It features Caliber 2663 SQ, which was created by transforming Caliber 2663 that encloses an automatic movement with a twin-barrel system into the modern skeleton composition. It also features a sapphire crystal dial, and equipped with a silicon balance spring and pallet lugs. The Grande Seconde Skelet-One comes in three variations: black ceramic, 18K red gold (image), and 18K white gold.
