News Fluid mechanical watch brand "HYT" announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Office Mugino for development newly in the Japanese market.
The Swiss watch brand "HYT" was founded in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, in 2012 to realize the idea of "time flowing constantly, can't we express it with fluid liquid". For 10 years of work, HYT has struggled to combine watch technologies by Chronode and Renault et Papi, cutting-edge medical technologies, and space engineering components developed by NASA, to create an unprecedented watch. In the result that they are succeed in developing a movement combining two different liquids with only 0.4 mm plexiglass capillary. A unique watch displaying time with liquids was borne.
In late 2020, "HYT" underwent a major reorganization and, under new management, the weak points of mechanical systems which suffered by effects temperature and atmospheric pressure, have been overcome through technical improvements, and robustness has been enhanced. In addition, the company has teamed up with Eric Coudray of the TEC Group, which manufactures mechanical movements, to develop a fluid mechanical complication. The "Moon Runner Collection" of moon phase watches and the "Black Eclipse" tourbillon model unveiled at Watches & Wonders 2023 were also presented.
The new HYT will be available in three collections: the space-themed Hastroid Collection, the Moon Runner Collection with moon phases, and the Conical Tourbillon. Conical Tourbillon. Conical Tourbillon “Black Eclipse"
The tourbillon at the center of the dial features a 30-degree spring balance, a 15-degree escape wheel, and a 23-degree palette. The tourbillon is surrounded by three planetary spheres, each rotating in tandem with the rotation of the tourbillon (one planet rotates 4th per minute, other planets rotate 5th and 6th per minute). When held up with a UV light, the 3D index and sphere glow green and the universe is expressed on the dial. Limited to 8 pieces worldwide.
