"Calatrava 24-Hour Travel Time 5224R"
Patek Philippe, renowned for its travel time mechanism that displays a second time zone, has introduced a new model that displays not only the second time zone, but also home time in 24-hour format. It features a 24-hour display of local time and time of departure by means of two center hour hands; the 24-hour display has been reinterpreted in a modern way, with noon positioned at 12 o'clock instead of 6 o'clock as usual to enhance the visibility of the daytime time display. This highly original feature is made possible by the new automatic movement, caliber 31-260 PS FUS 24H, which is an ultra-thin basic caliber. Based on the ultra-thin basic caliber 31-260, it adds a 24-hour display and a travel time complication, the drive of which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
Case: Diameter 42 mm, Thickness 9.85 mm, 18K RG, water resistant 3 ATM, See-through back / Movement: Automatic Cal. 31-260 PS FUS 24H (44 jewels, Frequency 28,800 vph, minimum 48-hour power reserve) / 7,711,000 yen
