"Jumping Hours - Rising Sun Edition"
Andersen Geneva is a brand led by Sven Andersen, founder of the Association of Independent Watchmakers (AHCI). Its signature model with jumping hour mechanism is now available in a limited edition of 50 pieces for Japanese connoisseurs. The jumping hours is a traditional complication, and in this model it is displayed in a window at 12 o'clock, while the minutes are indicated by white gold hands on a subdial at 6 o'clock. The dial in pink gold is decorated with a "magic rosange" guilloché pattern, while the subdials are decorated with a hobnail pattern. The dials are created using three different engine-turning machines, which take several days of work by skilled craftsmen. The lugs, meticulously welded to the case, are another of the brand's signature features. The sapphire crystal caseback reveals the double-barreled movement with Côtes de Genève decorations and mirror-polished screw heads.
