News Richard Mille Japan Co., Ltd. has been provided reconstruction assistance for the Great East Japan Earthquake since 2011 and the Kumamoto Earthquake since 2016. The company also continues its charity activities to support foundations and other organizations and established the Richard Mille Japan Foundation in 2018.
One prototype model of the RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic will be offered at the 2023 Charity Auction, the RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic is a limited edition of 150 pieces commemorating both the 100th anniversary of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race and the 11th edition of the Le Mans Classic. It is the brand's first watch equipped with an in-house developed flyback chronograph with patented double-swing pinion clutch mechanism, and its hands represent a car running two laps of the 13.626 km of the Le Mans circuit.
The entire amount of the winning bid, as well as all the money raised in the charity box, will be donated to the respective organizations.
