“L'Armorial”
The “Objet d'Art” collection is created every year to commemorate the birthday of the founder, Michel Parmigiani. A pocket watch called L'Armorial was presented on December 2, 2023. The inspiration for this project came from Palazzo Tedda, a palace in Mantova, Lombardy, Italy. The royal palace, built during the Renaissance and decorated in every detail by the craftsmen of the time, is applied to architecture, nature, and the golden ratio. The L'Armorial is equipped with a movement in 1890 with chronograph and minute repeater functions and signed “A. Golay Leresche & Fils in Geneva. Michel Parmigiani restored this movement in 1985 and added a perpetual calendar. It has now been combined with an aventurine dial to complete this unique piece.
