Patek Philippe
“World Time Ref. 5330”
The new generation of world time automatically synchronizes the date display with the time in the selected time zone indicated at 12 o'clock on the two-city display ring. This new function allows the date to be displayed without the need to adjust the date display, which was previously necessary when crossing time zones.
The movement is equipped with a new caliber based on the Cal. 240 HU. The local time date display module incorporates a patented central differential system consisting of two coaxial gears. Each press of the push-button at 10 o'clock moves the city ring, 24-hour ring, and center hour hand forward or backward in one-hour increments, as well as the date display as needed.
This is a further evolution of Patek Philippe's world time, which is designed to provide a practical and comfortable user experience. The 5330 model, which was presented as a limited edition at the Watch Art Grand Exhibition (Tokyo 2023) held in Tokyo in June 2023, has been added to the current collection.
