“Lady Arpels Jour Nuit Watch”
A reinterpretation of the 2008 Jules Nuits watch from the Poetic Complications® collection, which tells a poetic story on the dial. The sun and the moon, eternally chasing each other in the depths of the universe, are represented by a disc that rotates once every 24 hours to show the stars moving through the sky and telling the passage of time.
The sparkling moon and stars are set with diamonds, and the sun is paved with snow-set yellow sapphires. The sky is represented by aventurine glass made using the Murano glass technique. The white mother-of-pearl covering part of the dial represents the horizon where the poetry of the universe is born.
The watch is available in two versions, one with a shiny alligator strap and the other with an 18K white gold bracelet paved with diamonds (35,904,000 yen), and the strap and bracelet can be replaced by the wearer.
