Audemars Piguet
“Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar”
To commemorate its 150th anniversary, Audemars Piguet unveiled the first 38mm Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar. This marks a significant evolution, as the mechanism—previously offered only in 41mm—is now housed in a more compact, wearable format.
The new Caliber 7136, a self-winding movement just 4.1mm thick, overcomes the complexity of adjustment that has long challenged traditional complications. It introduces an innovative system allowing the date, day, month, and leap year to be adjusted solely via the crown, significantly enhancing usability. Two versions were unveiled. The stainless steel model features a light blue Grand Tapisserie dial and counters, creating a fresh impression. The 18K pink gold counterpart harmonizes a beige dial with a blue moon phase, resulting in an elegant finish.
Alongside the regular models, a “150th Anniversary” edition is available for each. Whilesharing the same exterior design, this limited edition features a vintage-style “Audemars Piguet” logo on the moon phase at 6 o'clock. The case back is engraved with the 150th anniversary commemorative logo and the inscription “1 of 150 pieces,” highlighting its rarity as one of only 150 pieces worldwide.
