”Luminor Marina PAM01759”
A vintage-style limited edition model inspired by Panerai’s roots as a maker of precision instruments, the Luminor Marina PAM01759, has been announced. In addition, a Panerai Photo Event will be held for a limited time from Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 14 at the Panerai Ginza Boutique.
The Luminor Marina PAM01759, limited to 1,000 pieces, pays tribute to Panerai’s historic bond with the sea and to the early instruments developed in its birthplace, Florence. As an homage to Panerai’s rich archives, the model directly incorporates iconic design codes that shaped the brand’s identity during the era when Panerai supplied the Italian Navy. By reinterpreting essential elements of Panerai’s DNA and integrating them into the core Luminor Marina collection, the watch achieves a distinctive vintage-inspired aesthetic.
The 44 mm stainless steel case, equipped with a domed sapphire crystal that evokes the silhouette of early diving instruments, serves as a tribute to Panerai’s original designs. The dial, reminiscent of former best-selling models and archival pieces, features green Super-LumiNova®, enhancing legibility in low-light conditions.
At its heart is the automatic Caliber P.9010, featuring twin barrels and offering a power reserve of approximately three days. The movement allows the hour hand to be adjusted independently without affecting the minute hand, making time zone changes quick and easy. The closed case back is engraved with the words “Limited Edition” and an individual serial number. In addition to the standard dark brown vintage calf leather strap, a black rubber spare strap is also included.
This meticulously crafted timepiece, which fuses Panerai’s heritage and tradition with modern innovation, is now available at Panerai boutiques.パ
Furthermore, starting December 5, the Panerai Ginza Boutique will host a limited-time photo event commemorating the 70th anniversary of the crown-protecting device. Guests will have the opportunity to try on the Luminor Marina Titanio and have their portrait taken by a professional photographer.
