CZAPEK
“Time Jumper”
Czapek celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Maison's revival and announced the new “Time Jumper” to mark the milestone. Inspired by a 19th-century pocket watch by Francois Czapek, this piece has been boldly reimagined with modern technology and design philosophy, featuring the newly developed automatic caliber 10.1.
It is positioned as the core movement that will lead the brand into its next decade. Its most distinctive feature is its hands-free time display. The hours are displayed by a 24-hour jumping hour (patent pending) consisting of two sapphire discs, while the minutes are displayed on a rotating ring around the outer edge. The case has a retro-futuristic form reminiscent of a flying saucer and features a half-hunter structure. The cover is engraved with the newly developed 3D guilloché pattern “Singularité,” creating a visual effect that seems to draw the viewer into an abyss. The skeletonized movement is faintly visible through a central magnifier.
Opening the cover reveals the entire movement, featuring a recycled platinum center rotor. The Czapek-inspired aesthetic is evident in curved bridges and the signature five-spoke wheel. Production is limited to 100 stainless steel models, 30 18K yellow gold models.
