“Master Control Calendar”
A limited edition of 500 pieces, offering a contemporary interpretation of Jaeger-LeCoultre's tribute to the triple calendar watch introduced in the 1940s. It features a two-tone gray grained dial that combines classic beauty with high legibility, organizing the date, day, month, and moon phase displays through a sector structure. The in-house automatic Caliber 866 powers the watch, providing the basic hours, minutes, and seconds alongside the triple calendar (date, day, month) and moon phase display. The date hand, indicated by a red arrow on the date ring around the dial's periphery, features a smooth, high-speed movement function. It rapidly jumps 90 degrees once a month, from the 15th to the 16th, ensuring accurate moon phase display without obstructing the moon phase indicator. Fifty years after creating its first triple calendar movement, in 1992 Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the Master Control collection, named in reference to the “1000 Hours Control” certification. This piece embodies the brand's unique aesthetic code defined by technical rigor and refined style.
