"Traditional Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin"
Three new additions to Vacheron Constantin's Traditional collection embody the Maison's 270 years of expertise in ultra-thin complications. Housed within an elegant case measuring 36.5mm in diameter and 8.43mm thick is the in-house automatic Caliber 1120 QP. Despite its slim profile of just 4.05mm, it integrates a perpetual calendar requiring no adjustment until the year 2100—displaying day, date, month, and leap year—along with a moon phase and lunar age indicator. The movement bears the Geneva Seal, with hand-finishing extending to unseen areas like the perlage on the mainplate, chamfered bridges, and Côtes de Genève decoration. Design-wise, it adopts proportions reminiscent of the 1983 masterpiece, Reference 43031. Three subdials and the moon phase at 6 o'clock are arranged with orderly precision.
Alongside models in 18K white gold and pink gold, this release also introduces a gem-set version featuring a sunburst-finished silver dial. Seventy-six brilliant-cut diamonds set on the bezel and lugs add a contemporary sparkle to the classic “Traditional” design, a legacy dating back to the 1820s.
