“Villeret Traditional Chinese Calendar”  

To mark the arrival of the Lunar New Year, Blancpain has unveiled a limited edition model for 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse, themed around the Chinese calendar.  

This fifteenth iteration of the Villeret Traditional Chinese Calendar features a unique, complex calendar mechanism combining the solar-based Gregorian calendar, the traditional Chinese calendar (a lunisolar calendar influenced by both solar and lunar movements), and a moon phase display. As a new visual expression, it adopts Blancpain's first attempt at a salmon rose Grand Feu enamel dial.  

Furthermore, the 22K gold rotor features a hand-engraved Métiers d'Art motif vividly depicting a galloping horse soaring over a flying swallow, evoking the celestial horse of Chinese dynastic legend. This masterpiece exemplifies Blancpain's savoir-faire, balancing complex mechanisms with legibility and showcasing refined decorative techniques. Limited to 50 pieces.
