“Master Collection Chronograph Moonphase”
Longines has added a new model to its “Master Collection Chronograph Moonphase,” featuring an 18K rose gold case, expanding beyond the stainless steel models that have traditionally been the brand’s focus. The newly paired silver “barleycorn” dial provides a striking contrast with the rose gold tone, while Arabic numerals and blued steel hands ensure excellent legibility. The display layout follows that of previous models: the 12 o’clock subdial shows the day, month, and a 30-minute chronograph counter; the 6 o’clock subdial combines a 12-hour chronograph counter with a moonphase indicator; and the 9 o’clock subdial features the small seconds and a 24-hour display. The movement is a column-wheel automatic Caliber L687.5 with a silicon balance spring. A transparent caseback allows appreciation of the movement, including the rose gold-colored rotor, which is a distinctive feature of this new model.
